Get into the holiday mode with an afternoon cruise on Sundowner

Sundowner Cruises operates from Airlie Beach, where the Whitsunday islands provide the perfect back drop for our afternoon cruise.

This two hour cruise allows you to get on the water, enjoy a glass of bubbles and the company of other guests. On Wednesday afternoons the local twilight races start at 3.30pm and on Sunday we will be searching the bay for turtles and dolphins.

Our philosophy at Sundowner is about providing a great product, fantastic service in a friendly social atmosphere that gets your holiday off to a great start and that allows you to truly unwind and bask in the beautiful Whitsunday atmosphere whilst enjoying your favourite tipple from our fully licensed bar.

Sundowner is a fully covered purpose built catamaran designed for socialising, and unlike a yacht, we have a flat surface and no trip hazards. There is ample room to move, and high heels are welcome.

Sundowner departs from Coral Sea Marina, Northern Village, which is only a short walk from the main street of Airlie Beach. Coral Sea Marina is a vibrant, award-winning marina which includes the Garden Bar & Bistro with uninterrupted views across the marina and Sorrento’s Restaurant & Bar located alongside the boardwalk in the Northern Village.

We circumnavigate Pioneer Bay and as we have very little draft we are able are able to get up close and personal to the many points of interest along the Airlie Beach coastline, and enjoy a bit of turtle spotting in Turtle Bay.
